#035 Imperial Black Rye Kuit – 8%

A nice initiative set up by Derek Walsh suggested we – the dutch brewers -  should revive an old dutch beer style. Of Course we like to participate but we are Rooie Dop and we tend to do these things our way. So we hipsterized the kuit and took it to the next level – post kuit. A fully new beer style, made for you by Rooie Dop. We are proudly to present the Imperial Black Rye Kuit. It has more hops, more alcohol, more black malts and more rye. Try it at our tasting sessions!

#034 Ot The Explorer – 7.8%

Back by popular demand! We re-brewed the Ot! But we have to apologize a bit; this one is not that bitter. The original Ot The Elder had the incredible 327 IBUs – fresh on the hook, as we say in Holland. The Explorer only has 326 IBUs. Sorry Ot, we hope it is still bitter enough for you.In this beer we also modified the hop gifts a bit. We now used Summit hops and we left out the Simcoe unions. Of course this beer is still a dry cheek fighter and we are proud to present it to you!

It adds oak and sweet bourbon to the existing aroma and flavor. Sit down, relax and take your time to enjoy our Double Oatmeal Stout Bourbon Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Oatmeal Stout!

#033 Imperial Stout – 10.3%

You might remember last year. We made an imperial stout with 99% pure chocolate and added some orange peel to gave it a nice sexy appearance for the summer. We like strong dark beers in summer. As well. Anyway, that was some pretty great experiment, though there was something missing. It was a great imperial stout witch chocolate and orange peel. Now we just want a great imperial stout. So what we did was leave out the chocolate and orange peel, tuned the malt bill a bit and pitched down the alcohol percentage just a little bit. And yes, now we have a great, plain and nice imperial stout. An Imperial Stout Without. You could perhaps call it Imperial Stout Vanilla, but that might lead to some confusion, so we decided to gave it the brilliant name Imperial Stout! Cheers!

#032 Twenty Four Seven – 4.6%

When we are at festivals selling our commercial beers lots of people ask for a bit more easy to drink beer with a lower alcohol content. Since we agree with that suggestion and we really enjoy a good session we decided to go experimenting with the concept. After the Donna Summer Ale, this Twenty Four Seven ale is the next in line and probably this will be the marker for a new commercial beer. Don’t let the low alcohol content and easy-to-drink characteristics fool you; this will be a very tasty little devil!
